Whaddup dawwwwwwg? We’ve (well, I, Zara) have been all experimental lately with supplements from Liquid Health, sent lovingly our way with thanks to Sparkle PR! Love you guys!

So, anyways, I’ll admit, I’m always hesitant when it comes to supplements. With things on my face, I seem somewhat meh *insert Bart Simpson shrug here*- but when it comes to consuming things? I usually grit my teeth ala Chrissy Teigen.

With that all said and done, I’d felt massively crap about my hair and nails in recent months, So when I saw ‘vitamins to help skin, hair and nails’ I legit went all and I oop… ok, sign me up!

Liquid Health Skin, hair and nails

If you follow me on Insta; and if not, then why TF not? – only jokes, no beef ting plz, then you’ll have heard me moaning often about my hair and its condition during the process of growing it out of its minging short pixie cut and its thin, lacklustre appearance, texture… Everything. I clutched onto the box of Liquid Health bottles almost like my damned life depended on it. I know there is more to life than hair… But mine had been through some massive neglect in the last few years, and yet when I finally treated it with respect, I still felt like I gained nothing out of it.

Liquid Health Skin, Hair and Nails

more active ingredients than 10-12 pills. Hmm.

Key ingredients of these particular vitamins include – hyaluronic acid (I always remember this as hy= hydrating asf) Biotin, brilliant for hair and nail strength and growth, reservatol and Marine collagen.

My time taking these lil’ geezers had ups and downs. The ups? My nails made major gains in length and strength. They’re glorious, seriously! Unfortunately they’re also a mess no thanks to fake tan but when painted? Bangin! Step aside acrylic, my nails got something to say to you…

The meh’s? My hair didn’t massively improve. It had an appearance of thickness, but to touch, it wasn’t any different. It’s managed to have a tiny growth boost in this time which is ace! But what I really desired was shetland pony mane like thickness… and I ain’t be gettin any o’ dat.

Now for the downers. It’s a major one. It’s a stinker, literally. These vitamin supplements tasted absolutely awful. I can’t glaze this, I can’t say it any sweeter (because it ain’t by miles) – oop – but by the time I finished my course I was actually grateful. A ‘tastier experience, better than a handful of pills’ – yo, I’ll take the pills please.

Liquid Health Skin’, hair and nails

Thing is, I can taste LQ made a major effort here, I could taste the fruit tones buried beneath the marine takeover… but it just didn’t work. There was a massively dull, almost, stagnant fish taste laying within each bottle, which was soon followed with a soured aftertaste. I could only rinse this away with flavoured water and even then, I had to neck and neck the stuff to shift it.

Nails and hair wise? It’s cool, they did the job. But I can’t say I’ll stick with the program until they can better that taste. Taking a shot of marine fish berry juice ain’t happening in my house, ain’t nobody got time fo dat.

If you can handle the taste you can subscribe and save with LQ online, or grab yourself a 10 day supply for £29.99 (prices correct as of 20/07/2019)
