Hey everyone! Today I have a very special review for all of you. So it has been my dream for a subscription box company to send me their Deluxe or Premium Box to review. The company known as SnackFever made my wish come true! We are going to be taking a look at the SnackFever Deluxe Box from November. I don't know why it is from November but I don't care.
SnackFever is a subscription box company that sends you snacks from Korea. The Deluxe Box costs $36 a month and you can get at least 12 snacks and at least 1 drink. Also, you can get some premium items that you don't get in the other boxes. A link will be at the end of the review for you to check this out. Now, let's get into this review!
The first item we are going to be taking a look at is the Seaweed Crisps Gochujang flavored. These are Sweet and Spicy Seaweed Crisps. They smell like plants and there is a little hint of spice in the smell as well along with a rice smell. It actually did not taste as bad as I thought it would. The taste reminds me of one of those sweet rice cracker things with a bit of seaweed flavor. The seaweed was not over powering and there was a little kick from the spicy but nothing too bad. The thing that got me though was the texture. If I were to rate this snack I would give it a 6.5 out of 10
The second item we have is the Chana Cheese Sticks. Now at first I thought these were chocolate with cheese in them but after reading the info card, I found out these had cream cheese in them not cheese like you put on a sandwich. I actually hardly tasted the cream cheese and just tasted the chocolate which was not that bad. They look like Kit Kats.
The next item we have are the Sweet Potato Chips. These chips look a lot like Frito chips. For some reason they are purple. I've never seen a purple sweet potato before but I guess they exist! The chip is small and rugged at the touch. I does not have any smell to it as well. This is a very light chip with not a lot of flavor surprisingly enough they are really good! They taste like sweet potatoes. These get a 7 out of 10.
Also, in this box, I got some Spicy Seafood Noodles. These are actually really amazing! They taste like fish and are not too spicy but the spice is still there. These noodles are rich in flavor and the texture is smooth. Every quality you would want in noodles are in these! I'd rate these a 4.5 out of 10
Also included in this box are the Gosomi Multigrain cookies. These cookies have a hint of sesame in them which you can smell a little bit. The cookie itself, it very thin. These cookies are amazing! They taste really good and are very sweet. It's like there is the taste of a cracker but it really sweet. Surprisingly enough I did not taste any sesame in them. These are my favorite things out of this box so far. These get a 7.5 out of 10.
The next item included in this box is a box of Gorea Bap crackers. These things look really cool! They are shaped like little sea creatures and they are 3 dimensional. They smell like seasoning salt. I would explain the as being something like a hamburger with seasoning on it. These crackers are not bad but at the same time not good. I'm going to have to rate these a 4 out of 10.
We are getting down to some of the last few items! One of these includes Honey Dipped Banana Chips! Alright so, I love Bananas and I love Honey. These look like dried up bananas dipped in honey. They don't have any smell to them which is strange. I am not a fan of these... The banana and honey flavors do not go together. These get a 1 out of 10.
One of the last items in this box is a bag of Real Candy Blueberry Flavored! Now, I love blueberries and will eat anything blueberry related so I hope these are good. Each piece comes individually wrapped. The pieces are very thick. They also have a really good smell to them. I put this in my mouth and went to heaven. They are two flavors with this candy: Blueberry and Cream. These flavors go together amazingly and one does not over power the other. I rate these a 10 out of 10! If you like blueberries, then you will love these!
We now have 3 edible items left. One of these is the HAITAI Oh Yes! Premium Chocolate Coated Cake With A Chocolate Filling. Oh my God! These Just sound so good! Finally something that is not Dark Chocolate! These things taste so good! They taste like chocolate cake. The chocolate part is not too strong, the cake part melts in your mouth and all around these are amazing! These get 20 out of 10! I don't care! These broke the ranking system!
Now time to wash it all down with some Pororo Milk flavored. This is sort of like watered down sweet milk in a sense but it smells pretty good. It smells really sweet. When I put this in my mouth, I was so confused but it does not taste that bad. You can actually taste some fruit and some sweetness as well as a little bit of milk. I give this an 8 out of 10.
Not only did I get one drink but I got 2! This is something that can only happen in the deluxe box. The second drink is called Golden Apple and on the info sheet it is described as: "The ladies of Girlfriend are bunch of sweeties, and so is their refreshing drink." It comes in a little juice pouch like you would get as a kid and you have to poke the straw through it but the straw would always break. This drink is amazing! It tastes like actual apples! This drink has great taste to it and I love it. If you like apples then you will like this. I mean it is not like American Apples, this tastes like an actual apple you would pick of the tree. This gets a 10 out of 10.
Over all this box is really AMAZING and I highly recommend you get one! The only problem I had was with those banana chips but other than that, this box is great!
