Industrial

The display objects will be made from old metal, wood or steel which can make the object feel very historical and old. The object may have been scavenged ( can make the Industrial Style more noticeable) or have been recycled.

Colours which may be used in an industrial design are neutral and warm colour tones. However stay clear of blood and bright colours. Adding shades and tones of grey would work very well with white. As it gives the room a clean and neat look.

Exposing bricks, steel beams or columns to your design. You can also add exposed concrete, wood and stainless steel all work very well in an industrial design. Flooring should be polished concrete, timber or stone flooring. All of these types of flooring would work very well in the design.

Adding large and comfortable sofas to the room add a feel of cosy and homely. You should add large cushions which should be scattered. Large industrial artwork should be hung on the Wall and be made a statement piece. An industrial design should have plants in the design because it injects colour and life to the design. The lighting should be create by free standing floor lamps hanging over the furniture. You could add some pendant lamps into the space to add more light.

Here are some photos to help you visuals an industrial design:

Beautiful kitchen made from wood and stainless steel.

Beautiful bedroom with a stunning wood feature wall. The windows make feel like this is a converted factory.

Beautiful double hieght living room with beautiful lighting. The table is a feature piece as my eyes are drawn towards it.
