Diy Herb jars

This herbs garden hasn’t been screwed to the wall and has been placed on the surface and is leaning on the wall.

This will be my first ever post on Diy.

This post is based around the interior trend which is bring the outside inside which means bring plants, herbs, shrubs and greenery into interior design. There are many diy posts which can help you bring the outside inside and the most popular one, I think is the Herb Garden. You are able to bring a herb garden in by the following:

•Glass Jars ( Mason jars )

•Teacups

•Wooden plant pot ladder

•Hanging jars

•Buckets (ceramic or metal)

•Plant pots on shelves

• Metal tins

•Plasric bottles.

But, today’s Diy post is on Jars, here are the instructions:

1) Find a Plank of wood that you don’t need or if you need to then buy some. If it is old then it will be able to give you the rustic feel.

2) Sand the plank a little bit, which also the surface to become smooth and this will be easier to paint over ( painting the plank is optional ).

3) I suggest that you place the jars on the plank where you want them to be which will give you an estimate off where to cut the wood. The jars will need to be spaced apart to allow the herbs to grow down.

4) You can either use old glass jars or you can buy new jars. You can either paint the jars or you can leave the jars clear. When you have got the jars you will have to put soil in the jars and then plant the seed. Whether the seeds are mint, thyme or Oregon.

5) Lay the plank on the floor and place the jars on top of the plank. Place a metal clamp of the jars to hold them in place and they will not fall out if they have been screwed on tightly. Once they have been screwed on tightly, you are able to then screw the plank onto the wall.

6) Keep watering the herbs, until they start to grow. If the herbs start to grow out then the herbs will start to dangle down which will make it easier to pick the herbs.

Here are some picture of a stunning herb garden:

This herb garden has had the jar been placed diagonal which allows the pants to dangle down.
