With greater efficiency and better connectivity, the new 2019 Range Rover is set to feature new styling cues. An automotive icon which is always ready to ride in the rough is now redesigned and comes with few engine variants.
With affirmations of being the most advanced vehicle by Land Rover, it has big shoes to fill. Though prototypes have been spotted testing on the UK’s roads, the manufacturer aims at more scope for personalization and more practicality.
2019 Range Rover – Body and Design Changes
On the exterior of the 2019 Range Rover, updates are minor but apparent. While the LED headlights are slimmer, the hood is longer and the grille integrates gloss black accents. Also, the lower air intakes are more extended. The side accents and graphics have been touched up with the new taillights and a rear bumper that integrates a box-like exhaust.
Inside the 2019 Range Rover, passengers will be greeted by the Pro touch infotainment system. This system has a stunning look and is much improved compared to the outgoing models. It consists of two 10-inch high definitions display arranged on top of each other.
The top screen controls basic functions such as the navigation, radio and basically the overall car settings, while the lower is the main hub for the Range’s drive settings and also climate control. Every function on the inside and outside can be configured by a touch on the screen.
The newest Range Rover features seven distinct driving modes. There will be everything from dynamic to eco and off-road settings like grass, gravel and mud among others. Below the gear is a button that places the vehicle into pure EV mode. Even better, the back passengers can enjoy as much as the front occupants, thanks to the two screens placed on the seat backs of the front seats. More amazing features include 4G Wi-Fi connectivity and adequate USB ports for all occupants. Luxury is at its best in the 2019 Range Rover. Rear seats have up to 24 different adjustments as the seats ride in a wider cushioning than other models.
2019 Range Rover – Comes with few Engine Variants
A turbocharged 3.0-liter engine will power the 2019 Range Rover. This engine can produce 254 horsepower at 3,750 rpm. Placed alongside an eight-speed automatic transmission. If you need more power you can choose the supercharged V8 5.0-liter engine that makes 557 horsepower and 502 lb-ft of torque. The 3.0-liter supercharged V6 is also included with 380 horsepower at 6,500 rpm.
In dynamic mode, the vehicle is as sharp and fast as its Range Rover Sport preceding it. It is quiet and comfortable to drive. While the insulated glass helps to dampen the sound, air ionization takes away any undesirable impurities from the outside surroundings.
2019 Range Rover – Launch Date and Price
Although the Land Rover has not officially announced the exact date for the release of the new Range Rover, we expect it to debut sometime next year. There is no exact amount to declare how much the Range will cost but it is anticipated not to range far from its predecessor.
