If there’s one lesson I have learned that can be applied to my own personal understanding of life it is that we shouldn’t ever limit ourselves not because of comfort or an inability to see what lies ahead. Failure is the one thing in life that no one should find daunting. Every task to be fulfilled requires failure and if we learn to take that on the chin. Fortune is a mistress that cannot be courted properly until we desire to face its sibling and that is failure. That is the way life works. Failure only helps you grow. Life always teaches us what we need to know. That comes with it whether we are aware of it or not. If we are going learn to live our lives we have to come to an understanding and what that lead me to is that life will always test us and if we are willing we come out wiser and more capable to live up to its challenge. All we need to know about life is that to become who we need to be failure is going to happen sooner or later. When we see failure as raw data, as instruction for a better assertion the next time we desire to use our will we become more in tune with the world and grow. Its a subtle language we must learn to listen to with ardent investment and try to be as open to life as possible. The worst thing you can do is to be shamed for trying, because nothing good started out that way, it took growth and countless failures. Modern society is built around microwavable solutions and it never tells you that the journey is not as sexy as the end result. We rarely find anyone who cheers on the underdog and its better that way. No one needs to or is obligated to. You just have to trust yourself and trust in the process. It’s all dependent on you and no one else so don’t expect cheers from anybody outside youself. Once we make our peace that it will be hard, outside our comfort, and become indifferent to the pain it shows us we realize that its all for us and reproach is the gentle hand of a Father teaching us to rise above our petty self and into our inherent glory we make the decision not to play small and to be the best we can be whether morally, financially or just by setting goals for growth. People are most comfortable in the company of people that reflect their own insufficiency. They are fooled into believing that that is all life has to offer. That security is a lie we teach ourselves. If we become humble students. Go beyond our own pride and self prejudice we can begin the journey this life is meant to be for us. There is nothing more noble than being better than we were yesterday. It is the quiet dialogue we learn from when we communicate everyday with the world around us that informs our actions and pulls us out of ourselves and into attunement and harmony. We struggle because we do not know how to listen. Its the attitude I desire to take in life and its never easy but you will always find reward from it. You just have to have faith that it is within the world for us to find. All it takes is self-education. Failure is nothing. It is just a stepping stone, a correction for us to move more intelligently the next time around. Do not live your life thinking about luck or grace just do the work to be better and doors will open. Its the approach we should take to everything. The biggest successes grew comfortable with failure and also decided that they would learn from it. All you need do is to follow that same path as a formula to recreate what they did and you will see similar results.
