Tristan Thompson’s ex Jordan Craig says the NBA star owes her $224,000 in back child support payments for their 6-year-old son, Prince.

In a declaration obtained by The Dailymail, Craig claims that Thompson has been making “either partial payments or missing child support payments altogether” since November 2022.

Craig’s filing includes a breakdown of the payments made over a 10-month period, revealing that Thompson sent her $20,000 in November, followed by a full payment in December, and no contributions in January. From February to July, he made six payments of $14,500 each, and in August, he sent her $29,000.

Jordan Craig argues that Thompson’s recent contract with the Cavaliers pays him $2.7 million per year. As a result, she is requesting the court to withhold $80,000 per month from his income to catch up on the unpaid child support.

“It is my belief that Tristan signed a ‘veteran’s minimum’ contract with the Cavaliers that pays him $2.7 million per year,” Craig claimed in the declaration. “The $80,000 request is certainly less than half of his monthly salary.”

The Dailymail previously reported that in April 2019, Thompson had agreed to pay a $40,000 monthly stipend to Craig. At that time, he was reportedly earning an annual income of $17.7 million while playing for the Cleveland Cavaliers.

In addition, he had just one other child, his 5-year-old daughter True, whom he shares with his ex, Khloé Kardashian. Since then, Thompson has welcomed two more children: son Theo with Maralee Nichols (born in December 2021) and son Tatum with Kardashian( born in July 2022). 

As it stands, Tristan is reportedly paying a combined monthly sum of $120,000 in child support for his four children by the three different women. This amount does not include an additional agreement reached in December, which obligates him to pay $9,500 per month in child support to Nichols.
