Soulja Boy and girlfriend Jackilyn Martinez were in full celebration mode as their son, KeAndre a.k.a Lil Soulja, turned one year old on Wednesday. The couple pulled out all the stops and hosted a Pokemon-themed party in honor of the special occasion.

Soulja, whose real name is DeAndre Cortez Way, shared video clips from the event on his Instastories. In the heartwarming clips, the rapper can be seen toting his one-year-old son around as they soaked in all the fun-filled festivities.

 Soulja couldn’t contain his excitement as he exclaimed on Instastories, “Happy Birthday, little man! Today, we’re all about partying!”

The world was first introduced to Soulja Boy and Jackilyn’s bundle of joy via Instagram back in September of the previous year.

 “Lil Soulja, daddy loves you,” Soulja wrote at the time.

 Martinez, who was celebrating her birthday at the time, gushed, “This was an amazing birthday! Got to spend time with my own little family.

She added, “Couldn’t get any better gift than having my Baby Boy here to celebrate.”

Soulja Boy announced his impending fatherhood a few months earlier in March of 2022. He used a gender reveal video to share the news that he would soon become a father to a baby boy, saying, “We are blessed with a baby boy. Can’t wait to see you, baby Draco.”

Adding, “THANK YOU GOD. SUCH A BLESSING. DEAR SON, I WILL LOVE YOU FOREVER.”

When he’s not busy with his music career, Soulja Boy likes to set trends with his various business ventures. He proudly proclaimed, “I’m the first rapper to release a video game console in history,” and discussed the success of his company, adding, “My company is evaluated for multi-millions. My net worth is $30 million. I made a lot of millions in music, but how it’s going right now, I’m making more money off the video game console than the rap game.”
