Tyrese Gibson and Samantha Lee commemorated their daughter’s third Birthday this past weekend. Soraya Gibson enjoyed a birthday party as well as a special in-person visit from her father who traveled thousands of miles to be with his daughter at her bash.

“She doesn’t know how far I had to travel to kiss her beautiful face,” Tyrese told his fans regarding his daughter’s birthday party. “She doesn’t know how much sleep I lost over NOT being in the country on her actual birthday [on] Oct 1st,” the celebrity father said. “She just knows #DaddysHome,” Tyrese said.

“Thank you Samantha for laying this all out,” Tyrese wrote to his daughter’s mother. Samantha worked overtime to give her and Tyrese’s daughter an extravagant birthday bash. Brielle provided cupcakes for the event that put a big smile on Soraya’s face.

“This place was fully booked so the birthday party wasn’t possible on Oct 1st,” Tyrese said of the venue and Samantha’s attempt to give their daughter a party on her birthdate. “God knew that this wasn’t supposed to happen without daddy,” Tyrese told his social media fans. “#SoProudOfMyAngels kisses, kisses, and more kisses.”

Tyrese has been steadily working on projects all over the world. The F9 star recently shared snaps from his time on set with his most recent film, which is still in the works. Tyrese wrote a sweet message to Soraya for not being present for her birthdate while sharing footage from the site.

“Open letter to my daughter,” Tyrese began his note. “Sorry I’m not there for your beloved 3rd birthday today,” the actor shared. “Daddy is far far away in Sofia Bulgaria,” Tyrese said. “I can’t wait to get home and hug you and just sit there and watch bubble guppies,” the celebrity father declared. “Happy birthday, my angel. It’s 3 a.m. here.”

Soraya is Tyrese and Samantha Lee’s only child together. Tyrese has two kids, Soraya and Shayla, in all.
