Hi Lovely people!
Yesterday I attended my great grandmother’s funeral. It was a lovely service for a lovely lady, who lived to a good age of 95. However, it got me thinking about how many people don’t make it to this age and just the impermanence of life generally.
It’s so easy to waste life worrying ,comparing, Dreaming and hoping, constantly feeling dissatisfied with our lives. Actually Living though; now that is hard.
Life is unpredictable and often short, so live it to the full. Make each day count, make memories, and leave your mark on this world. All the things you’ve been saying that you’ll do ‘one day’, make that day today. I have really been trying to live by this mindset this past year and it has helped me to become a happier and better person. I no longer spend all of my time switching between wallowing in the past and dreaming about the future. I take each day as it comes and make the most of every opportunity that comes my way. As a result, I am the happiest that i’ve ever been, and have had some amazing experiences, and I know I have many more to come.
Also, here are a few songs that encourage me to make the most of everyday:
- Skillet:one day too late
- Nickleback: if today was your last day
- Tim McGraw: Live like you were dying.
Check them out, I think they are amazing.
Hope you are having a great day.
Lots of love, glitter and happy thoughts. Beth xoxo
