#FixIt Founder Alamgir Khan’s Father Killed In Shershah Blast

Fixit founder and PTI MNA Alamgir Khan’s father Dilawar Khan was among the 15 people killed in the Karachi blast that occurred in Shershah on Saturday.

PTI leader Khurram Sher Zaman was the first to confirm his news to SAMAA TV. “Other members of his [Alamgir Khan] family are trapped under the rubble,” he said.

Two of his employee, showroom manager Rashid and cook Islam, were also among the dead.

The body of the deceased was first moved to the Trauma Center and then to his home in Gulshan-e-Iqbal Block 7.

His funeral prayers will be performed at Jamia Huda Masjid at 4pm on Sunday.

President Arif Alvi, Sindh Governor Imran Ismail, PTI’s Ali Zaidi, and other leaders arrived at Alamgir’s house for condolence.

A building housing a private bank and three car showrooms near the Paracha Chowk in Karachi’s Shershah was destroyed following an explosion Saturday afternoon.

Alamgir Khan’s father was going into the bank, SAMAA TV reported. Dilawar Khan’s automobile showroom was located next to bank in the same building.

Prime Minister Imran Khan offered his condolences to the victim’s family.

“I am especially saddened to hear of the loss of our MNA Alamgir Khan’s father who also perished in the blast,” he said. “May Allah give him the strength to bear this loss.”

Talking to the media, Sind Governor Imran Ismail expressed his condolences to Alamgir Kha and all the grieving families.

“The investigation is underway and blaming anyone before a report comes would be premature,” he said
