In the district of Kech in Balochistan, near the Pakistan-Iran border, two soldiers of the Pakistani army were martyred in a terrorist attack on a Security Forces checkpoint.
According to the Public Relations (PR) department of the Pakistani army, a group of Terrorists attacked a Security forces' post in the Kech district, where the soldiers were already on high alert and bravely responded with all available weapons.
As per the PR, the security forces successfully pushed back the terrorists and engaged in an exchange of fire, during which 34-year-old Sepoy Hassanein Istiaq from Dera Ghazi Khan and 27-year-old Sepoy Anayatullah from district Jhal Magsi fought bravely and embraced martyrdom.
The statement mentioned that the Pakistani security forces are determined to eliminate terrorism and the sacrifices of our brave soldiers further strengthen our resolve.
It should be noted that on May 31, during a security forces' operation based on intelligence in North Waziristan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, two terrorists were killed.
According to the PR department of the Pakistani army, security forces carried out an operation in the Dosali area of North Waziristan based on secret information about the presence of terrorists.
During the operation, security forces and terrorists exchanged fire, resulting in the elimination of two terrorists.
Previously, on May 24, during a security forces operation in the Kot Azam area of South Waziristan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, six terrorists were killed.
According to the PR department of the Pakistani army, an exchange of fire took place between security forces and terrorists during the operation, leading to the elimination of six terrorists.
Similarly, on May 22, during an intelligence-based operation in Tank district, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, two soldiers of the Pakistani army embraced martyrdom, while three terrorists were killed.
According to the statement issued by the PR, the slain terrorists were involved in multiple terrorist activities against innocent civilians along with targeting security forces.
Among those who fought bravely and sacrificed their lives, 39-year-old Naik Muhammad Atiq from Chakwal district and 36-year-old Naik Rajab Ali from Attock were included.
Similarly, on April 26, an exchange of fire took place between security forces and terrorists in the Tira area of Khyber district, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, resulting in the elimination of two terrorists and the martyrdom of two soldiers.
