Them Cloud Kids To Host Second Annual New Jersey '30 Under 30'

There’s no shortage of easy ways to get attention in 2017. Whether you’re acting wild onWorldstar or spilling the tea on social media if you’re determined enough you can become a #blacktwitter sensation quick, fast, and in a hurry. But some millennials opt to stand out from the crowd by creating change in their community.
On November 18th Them Cloud Kids will be recognizing those individuals at their Second Annual Ubuntu Awards where they will be honoring New Jersey’s 30 Under 30. Held in the Great Hall of Newark’s Rutgers University Campus this event will be welcoming artists,  influencers, politicians, philanthropists, and community leaders.
Them Cloud Kids is a non-profit organization dedicated to creating a “future where kindness and compassion reign” through community engagement. Attendees at the Ubuntu Awards ceremony, which serves as a fundraiser for their diverse programming efforts,  will be treated to hors d'oeuvres courtesy of celebrity Chef Nikko, gift bags packed with treats from sponsors including brands like NOIRCI LIMITED,Butter Up, and the 1890 T-Shirt Company.
This year’s categories of honorees include “Community Mogul”, “Innovation”, “Help Us, Help Us”’, “Love is Love”, “Visual & Sound” and “Wellness”.
Notable nominees include designer and East Orange native Kyemah McEntyre who broke the internet in a positive way with her prom dress and since then has ripped the Runway at the BET Awards and been featured in Teen Vogue, founder of the empowerment organization “Curate Your Life” Deja L. Jones, Inspirational Speaker and founder of the “Authentic Convos” event seriesAyana Iman, Director of Training for the Sadie Nash Leadership ProjectLorena Estrella, and Alliance of E.O.F. Students of New Jersey representative Hansier Rodriguez .
Not only is attending this awards ceremony an awesome (and tax deductible) way to support your community and meet some really cool people it’s a reason to buy a fancy ‘fit! The dress code at this formal fundraiser is “dress to impress” therefore it’s a totally justifiable excuse to “treat yoself!”
Last year’s Ubuntu Awards were completely sold out so make sure to hurry up and cop your ticket before it’s too late!
