Muscle Foods Haul

Yay!!! I love getting parcels in the post. It's like a present from me to me. Today was no exception. I was only at work till 1:30 today so raced home to find a great big Muscle Foods box on the doorstep (no seriously it was actually left on the door step).

I discovered Muscle Foods through the Two Chubby Cubs blog. If you've never heard of the Two Chubby Cubs you can find them here. TRIGGER WARNING If your easily offending by bad language and crude comments then maybe this one is not for you. Of course you could just skip straight to the recipes but where is the fun in that?

Anyhoo they have a few deals with Muscle Food (Yeah they get paid a small commission but they're pretty upfront about it. An no this is not a sponsored post. Neither Muscle Foods nor Two Chubby Cubs even know I'm writing this post, let alone have any influence on it). I decided to go for the Meaty Mix Up deal which was £40. I figured it would be a good variety of freezer fillers to help keep us on plan.

So let's see what we got.

The box contains this kind of foil bubble wrap bag which is designed to keep the meat chilled.

We then open the bag to find our goodies along with a couple of gel ice packs to keep the meat fresh.

First up we have a couple of packs of lean beef mince. Less than 5% fat so totally syn free.

Next is the same again but of the pork variety.

Can never go wrong with a bit of bacon... especially when its syn free.

Some pork medallion steaks.

The TCC website says these are syn free but the SW app says 0.5 syns each. Either way, worth it.

Some lovely flat iron steaks for a romantic candle lit dinner for two.

So much chicken that I think I might turn into a damn chicken. There were 11 humongous breasts in this pack.

I've had something similar before. The last protein cheese I had tasted ok but went a bit plasticy when melted. We'll give it a go though.

So as you can see there is a LOT of meat. I'm expecting this lot to last us the month. We shall see and I'll keep you updated on how things taste and how well they cook and such.

Until next time

Emma
