It is not wrong to say that Radhika Apte is becoming the new controversial queen of Bollywood these days. Her controversies one by one are grabbing highlights and twisting heads towards her. With her performance in films like Parched, Manjhi – The Mountain Man, etc. She born on September 7, 1985, in Vellore, Tamil Nadu.
In the latest update from her side, she revealed about her experiences she had about Casting Couch in the film industry. This shows how demand for sexual relations instead of giving role offers in the films is on the puff. Radhika has mentioned her experiences related to casting couch in an interview related to her film Parched. In this film, her co-actress Surveen Chawla also told about her similar experience.
When asked about her experience, she shared,
“I know about many incidents related to the casting couch. I know many people who go through it. Although I was lucky that I did not get such people in my entire journey of the film career. Yes, once a South Actor called me in his room and tried to flirt with me but I did a bad deal with him. Later he fought with me too.”
Remembering one more incident, she said,
“Once I got a call and he (producer) said that ‘we are doing a Bollywood movie and I want you to meet him (the hero) in the meeting. But will you sleep with them?”
In response to this offer, Radhika said,
“And after that I laugh I said that you are very funny. Very funny Then I persuaded them and said, Go to hell!”
Radhika Apte is the new bold sensation in the B’town. She grabbed the eyeballs after giving nude scenes in the film Parched. Some time ago, during an interview when someone asked her about her nude scenes in the film Parched, she lashed out and said,
“I AM AN ARTIST… IF I AM REQUIRED TO DO A CERTAIN JOB THEN I WILL DO IT. IF YOU GET OUT OF YOUR COCOON AND LOOK AT THE WORLD CINEMA AND WHAT PEOPLE ARE DOING ABROAD AND THAT IS TOO SUCCESSFULLY THEN YOU WOULD HAVE NOT PROBABLY ASKED THIS QUESTION. I AM NOT ASHAMED OF ANYTHING. PEOPLE WHO ARE EMBARRASSED ABOUT THEIR OWN BODY ARE CURIOUS ABOUT OTHER’S BODY. SO IF YOU WANT TO SEE A NAKED BODY TOMORROW, SEE YOURSELF IN THE MIRROR RATHER THAN MY CLIP. THEN ONLY WE CAN TALK ABOUT THIS.”
