National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) is looking to hire a “Planetary Protection Officer” who can defend Earth from alien contamination. Moreover, NASA will pay a 6-figure salary (around $187,000 (£141,000)) for this role.

Duties
The Planetary Protection Officer (PPO) is responsible for the leadership of NASA’s planetary protection capability, maintenance of planetary protection policies, and oversight of their implementation by NASA’s space flight missions.
Qualifications
A degree in engineering, physical science or mathematics that included 24 semester hours in properties of materials, mechanics, electronics and dynamics.
