Celebrities set an example in front of the world and show that how with the help of your talent you can win the hearts of people. They are artistic people who are role-models for many but then there exist those celebrities who’s bad decisions changed the course of their careers and landed them behind bars.

1) Joe Giudice

Popular from the show, The Real Housewives of New Jersey, Joe and his wife Teresa were sentenced to prison under the charges of various counts of mail, wire, and bankruptcy fraud in Septemeber 2015. The couple was accused of not filing tax returns and bankruptcy fraud. While Teresa has since completed her stint behind bars, Joe is currently serving his sentence of 41 months.

2) Jared Fogle

“The Subway Guy” is in jail as he was sentenced to 15 years and eight months in prison under the charges of child pornography and having sex with minors. He was also ordered to pay $1.4 million in restitution to 14 victims and $175,000 in fines.

3) Bobby Shmurda

Rapper Bobby Shmurda was sentenced to seven years in prison in 2014. He was arrested for weapons, drugs, and assault charges. 

4) Abby Lee Miller

The lady is in jail since May 2017. Dance Moms star Abby was sentenced to 366 days in prison for bankruptcy fraud and for smuggling in $120,000 in Australian cash without disclosing it.

5) O.J. Simpson

Ex NFL star O.J. Simpson was convicted on 12 charges in 2008. His charges included kidnapping and armed robbery. He was sentenced to 33 years in prison. In July 2017, after serving nine years in prison, Simpson was granted parole. He could be released as early as October 2017.

6) C-Murder

The musician C-Murder was sentenced to life in prison under the charge of killing a teenager girl in 2002. He was convicted for killing a 16-year-old fan named Steve Thomas outside a club in Harvey during a scuffle.

7) Jeremy Jackson

The Baywatch star was arrested in April 2015 for allegedly stabbing a man with a knife in Los Angeles. Following his arrest on charges of assault with a weapon and criminal threats, Jackson pled not guilty and voluntarily entered rehab. In 2017, Jackson was sentenced to 270 days in jail.
