Swine Flu is lengthening its arm in the city beautiful Chandigarh. The fourth case of death with Swine Flu is recorded in the city. The last death recorded was of 56 years old man who died of swine flu at the GMCH-32 this afternoon. The deceased was a resident of Sector 26 Chandigarh and was designated as a head constable with Chandigarh Police.

Doctor Aggarwal who is a Nodal Officer, UT Health Department said that the patient got admitted to the GMSH, Sector 16, where doctors referred him to the GMCH- 32. The patient was so serious that he lost his battle with Swine Flu and died.
Dr. Aggarwal told the media that in order to take preventive measures “House-to-house surveys have been intensified so that suspected patients can be rushed to hospital on time. He said the Health Department had formed a rapid response team to tackle the situation. So far, 13 cases of swine flu have been reported from the city in the last 3 days. The situation is becoming a major issue of concern.
