Smriti Irani Has Not Yet Completed Her Bachelor Of Commerce Course
The same report also stated that Union Information and Broadcasting and Textiles minister Smriti Irani has cleared in her election affidavit that she has not yet completed her Bachelor of Commerce course.
Smriti Irani, in her 2014 affidavit for the Lok Sabha election, when she fought against Congress leader Rahul Gandhi at Amethi, had claimed that she had a BCom Part I from School of Correspondence, the University of Delhi in 1994.
Also, in 2011, she had made the same entry in her affidavit for election to the Rajya Sabha. Interestingly, when she fought Lok Sabha election from Chandni Chowk in New Delhi in 2004, she had entered, under the education qualifications column BA. 1996. Delhi University. School of Correspondence.
