A 30-year-old man in Sweden has died during penis enlargement surgery which involved injecting fat into his manhood from another part of the body (basically from the stomach). The surgery has been described as a simple and safe procedure of penis enlargement by homologous fat transfer but this is the first time that such a surgery has caused the death.

The patient was admitted to the hospital for both penile elongation and girth enhancement procedure. At first, Doctors successfully carried out the elongation process which involves an incision to loosen a ligament at the base of the penis.

But during the enlargement process which involves an injection of two fluid ounces of fat cells, patient’s heartbeat increased, blood pressure dropped and his oxygen level fell which caused a heart attack and he pronounced dead.

According to the BuzzFeed, Urologist Tobias Kohler of the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota said: “It’s a completely useless procedure that never works and disfigures men, and could kill you. This is the worst case, but there are lots of other horrible consequences, from disfigurement to permanent erectile dysfunction to even worse.”

He further added: “If you end up with something that nobody recognizes as a penis. That is what we call sub-optimal.”

Moreover, some doctors also slammed this procedure saying that this is the worst outcome, the treatment can cause erectile dysfunction and leave the penis disfigured.
