Someone played the role of his on-screen mother and others were seen in the roles of father, friend or well-wisher. They are:

1) Inder Kumar

Inder Kumar is one of the closest friends of Salman Khan. He even featured with him in many films like Tumko Na Bhool Payenge, Kahin Pyar Na Ho Jaye and Wanted. Inder Kumar died of cardiac arrest on July 28, 2017. He was only 44 years old.

2) Reema Lagoo

Reema Lagoo played the role of Salman Khan’s mother in 7 films including Hum Sath Sath Hain and Maine Pyar Kiya. In real life also, Salman Khan and Reema Lagoo shared a bond as same as a mother-son relationship. Reema Lagoo died of cardiac arrest on May 18, 2017. She was 59 years old.

3) Vinod Khanna

Vinod Khanna played the role of Salman Khan’s on-screen father in films like Dabangg, Dabangg 2 and Wanted. He was also one of the closest persons in his life. Vindo Khanna lost his battle with bladder cancer on April 27, 2017. He was 71 years old.

4) Om Puri

Veteran actor Om Puri worked with Salman Khan in many films, the most recent ones are Bajrangi Bhaijaan and Tubelight. Salman Khan went into tears on the trailer launch of film Tubelight as it was the last film of Om Puri sir. He died of heart attack on January 6, 2017. He was 67 years old.

5) Abis Rizvi

One of the close friends of Salman Khan and film producer Abis Rizvi was holidaying in Turkey with friends when terrorists attacked at the Reina nightclub in Istanbul on 1 January 2017. 39 people were killed in this attack, Rizvi was one of them. He was 49 years old.
