In a shocking incident, a woman kept her husband’s dead body inside the house for several months in a faith that he would come back alive. 50-year-old man, Vazhayil Sayed, had died a few months ago and the people in the house were not seen outside for several days.

The whole incident took place in Kulathopr in the Mallapuram district of Kerala. The neighbours informed the police that there was something suspicious as the whole family was not seen for many days.

When Police arrived they had to break the door as no one was giving a response from inside. They recovered the highly decomposed body of Vazhayil Sayed which was wrapped in cloth and the woman with her three children were found sitting around the body.
Police have launched an investigation and the body was shifted to the medical college hospital for post-mortem and forensic examination at Manjeri near Malappuram.
