For all those who are big fans of superstar Rajinikanth, there is a sad news for you. Rajinikanth’s younger daughter Soundarya is in a state of melancholy as she got officially divorced from her husband Ashwin Ramkumar after 7 years of being married to each other.

The legal proceedings are all over and the family court in Chennai has granted a divorce on Tuesday. The couple has a son together named Ved, he is just one year old. Soundarya’s ex-husband now, Ashwin Ramkumar is a Chennai-based industrialist. The couple married each other in the year 2010. If the news are to be believed, the couple has been living separately for seven months. A mutual consent divorce petition was filed in a family court last year.
Last year in September 2016, Soundarya Rajinikanth took to Twitter and confirmed separation. She wrote,
“News about my marriage is true. We have been separated for over a year and divorce talks are on. I request all to respect my family’s privacy.”
Soundarya is a graphic designer by profession and has worked in Tamil films such as Baba, Sandakozhi, and Sivaji among others. She is also the founder and director of Ocher Picture Productions.
