The bold and beauty contestant of Bigg Boss season 9 Mandana Karimi made news one more time. This time about her married life. Yes, the Iranian beauty parted her ways with her boyfriend turned husband just after 5 months of being married to him. She got married to her lover in a fairy tale wedding.

She accused her husband Gaurav Gupta of domestic violence. She also filed a domestic violence complaint against him. The shocking allegations come one day after she was reported to have filed for divorce from her husband.

The 31 years old model-actress in her complaint against husband Gaurav said that, she came to India in 2012 for pursuing a career in modeling along with acting and met Gaurav through a mutual friend. After dating for some time, the two got engaged in July 2016 and then tied the knot in January 2017.

As per the reports, Mandana accused her husband of forcing her to quit her career after getting married. If other sources are to be believed then she was forced to convert to Hinduism before her wedding, which Mandana refused to do. Things became worse when she was restricted from entering her house. Along with Gaurav she also alleged harassment by her mother-in-law. She made a statement that,

“I was thrown out of my matrimonial house seven weeks ago. I made desperate attempts to reconcile with them, but my in-laws didn’t allow me back. Gaurav has cut me off.”

She has also claimed that she was insulted by her husband and in-laws and not allowed to meet her friends. She is currently staying in a service apartment. Mandana’s lawyer has reported that the matter is in court now and they would further proceed with court’s order. Mandana has sought a monthly maintenance of Rs 10 lakh and a compensation of Rs. 2 crores.
