Good news for all the Bollywood fans out there! The biggest superstars of the industry namely Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan and Akshay Kumar grabbed the positions in the annual list of highest-earning entertainers in the world issued by Forbes.
The Forbes list of the ‘World’s Highest-Paid Celebrities of 2017’ has been topped by American rapper and entrepreneur Sean Combs. He is well-known by his more famous stage name ‘Diddy’. His net worth is 130 million dollars.
The 51 years old, Badshah Khan of Bollywood, Shah Rukh Khan ranks 65th on the list, with earnings of USD 38 million, tied with singer and actress Jennifer Lopez. Forbes stated under Shah Rukh photo in the list that,
“King Khan continues to bank big from starring roles in Bollywood movies. He also cashes in on endorsement deals for dozens of brands most Americans have likely never heard of,”
The other big Khan of Bollywood, Mr. Dabangg, Salman Khan ranks 71st in the list. His net worth is 37 million USD that he earns from films. He tied the rank with English singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran. About Salman, Forbes stated that,
“Salman continued to produce and star in films, which earned well at the box office.”
Coming to Khiladi Kumar, Akshay Kumar he is ranked 80th on the list. His net worth is 35.5 million USD, tied with musician Bon Jovi. Forbes said about Akshay that,
“Kumar, a king of the Bollywood box office for over a quarter of a century, mints millions through both starring and ensemble roles,”
The second position in the list is bagged by American singer and icon Beyonce with earnings of USD 105 million. Number three spot is occupied by author JK Rowling, with USD 95 million. R&B musician Drake is at the number four spot with USD 94 million.
Football star Cristiano Ronaldo (USD 93 million) rounded out the top five.
