Yesterday, Aam Aadmi Party MLA Kapil Mishra made a shocking announcement against Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, accusing him of taking Rs 2 crore from Delhi health minister Satyendra Jain. Mishra today met Anti-Corruption Branch (ACB), the organization which is investigating the matter as per ordered by Delhi Lieutenant Governor Anil Baijal.
According to the India Today, Mishra said: “I have given all information on the water Tanker Scam. He was quoted by ANI as saying, “Now I have become a complainant and a witness in the water tanker scam, and how (Arvind) Kejriwal and two his aides (Ashish Talwar and Vibhav Kumar) tried to scuttle the investigation and tried to save Sheila Dikshit.”
Yesterday, Mishra said when he asked Kejriwal about the money, he refused to give an appropriable answer but replied: “there are certain things in politics which are explained later.” Manish Sisodia, Deputy Chief Minister of Delhi, has reacted to the whole situation and said: “The allegations against Kejriwal are unsubstantiated. No one will believe them.”
On the other hand, Delhi BJP President Manoj Tiwari has reacted strongly against Kejriwal, “He has no moral right to hold the post of chief minister.” Kejriwal’s former AAP colleague Yogendra Yadav has said: “I might agree with charges of power, greed, arrogance, authoritarianism against Kejriwal, but charge of taking bribe needs solid evidence.”
