President Donald Trump has slammed Snoop Dogg with a tweet in response to his music video in which he parodies an assassination of Donald Trump. Mr. President tweeted: “Can you imagine what the outcry would be if @SnoopDogg, failing career and all, had aimed and fired the gun at President Obama? Jail time!”

Yesterday, Donald Trump’s lawyer, Michael Cohen told TMZ: “It’s totally disgraceful. Snoop owes the president an apology. There’s absolutely nothing funny about an assassination attempt on a president, and I’m really shocked at him because I thought he was better than that.”
He added: “If you have a protest, that’s fine, make your point. But it should never be, he has to learn that they need to respect the office of the presidency.”
Republican Senator Marco Rubio told TMZ that “Snoop shouldn’t have done that. We’ve had presidents assassinated before in this country so anything like that is something people should be very careful about.”
The video, called BADBADNOTGOOD, features Snoop Dogg pretending to shoot a clown dressed like Mr. Trump.
