In a shocking incident on which took place on Valentine’s Day, a 40-year-old man allegedly beat her to death and hacked her into two parts to dispose it off in east Delhi’s Madhu Vihar area.
Accused Subodh, a plumber, has been arrested. He told police that he suspected his first Wife, Manisha, 35 to have illicit relationship and he thrashed her on the night of February 10 and 11 so that she utter the truth, said a senior police officer.
The accused beheaded his first wife with the saw and kept the head in a bad in bed-box. He planned to cut the Remaining Body into pieces but got arrested on Wednesday.
He said that he beat his first wife in the front of second wife, Muniya her and three children. The police officer said that Subodh’s family members said that he kept thrashing Manisha with lathis on February 10 and 11.
He even threatened Muniya and her children when they intervened.
Manisha lived with her two children in Shakurpur area and he lived with his second wife and their only child in Madhu Vihar.
“Even though he is claiming that he thrashed Manisha in a fit of rage, we suspect that he had planned to kill her in advance and that’s why he called her to his house in Madhu Vihar,” said the officer.
“He was wary of taking the body outside. He first beheaded her using the saw that he used for his plumbing job. He had plans to chop the remaining body in pieces,” said the officer.
The murder was disclosed when the foul smell started emanating from the body due to which locals got suspected and they informed police.
