An Open Letter to Mr. Bilawal Zardari from a common Pakistani

Dear Bilawal,

I have been looking at the way you have started your politics since the elections of 2018 and as a Common Pakistani citizen, I would like to point out few things you are doing wrong.
First of all, you father’s U-turn in naming his kids from “Zardari” to “Bhutto” is hilarious and has worked to make people of Sindh a fool of themselves, yet it does not change the fact that you are a “Zardari” NOT a BHUTTO.

Secondly, your rant in calling the elected self-made Prime Minister of Pakistan as “Selected” only mocks your entire existence in Pakistan’s political landscape, because if he is selected, then surely was your mother and father when they won the elections. Also it proves that Sindh has been suffering from your party’s ruling since decades only because Army wants it to be.

Third and the most important, Imran Khan is a living example of democracy as a self-made politician. Common people like me have attended his jalsas and voted for him after listening to his vision reflected by his speeches and because of his numerous accomplishments for this country. Unlike you, with 0 achievements or sufferings when it comes to problems of a common man in Pakistan, he has suffered and lived with Pakistan against the injustice. Furthermore, your party has been in this country’s government many times, why did they fail in finding your mother’s murderers?
You should also thank the people of Sindh and other Pakistan, who don’t mention the sins of your mother (e.g. getting an NRO from a dictator, sharing secrets with India and corruption cases) and father (Memo gate treason) during their reigns, because guess what? Death in Pakistan often eliminates your sins, but it stays in memory of Pakistani patriots.

In short, bad mouthing against Imran Khan would not increase your political height rather it will further diminish your party’s existence in the country. It’s better to ask your father and other leaders of PPP, that despite decades of ruling; Sindh is still backward, institutions weak, education system destroyed, places like Thar and many villages lack basic life necessities such as electricity, water and food. Try to accomplish your grandfather’s vision of “Roti, Kapra and Makaan” in Sindh, other than using his name; “Bhutto”, which is the only thing that gets you trivial amount of votes after his death. He surely must be screaming from his grave after looking at the current status and performance of his party in Pakistan. Start performing, learning politics instead of playing like a puppet in your father’s hands.

Sincerely,
A Pakistani with “Common Sense”
