Udaipur : The City of Lakes for Amazing Sightseeing

Rajasthan is the land with sand dunes, royal architectural forts and havelis, marbled temples, shimmering lakes and many more natural attributes to enhancing its beauty.  In Rajasthan you will experience new things everyday and new traditions too.  Rajasthan has 33 cities which are famous for their culture, monuments, local market and many more.  After hearing some travel experience from my friends, I decided to explore Udaipur, the Venice of Rajasthan. The city is fondly known as a Lake City because it is a home of glittering lakes like Fateh Sagar and Pichola lakes and some artificial lakes. Udaipur is a city where you find yourself close to nature and a place with romantic natural winds. The city is also famous for its luxurious and royal hospitality where most celebrities come and organize their destination weddings and honeymoons.

After reaching Udaipur I found that travelling gives you the closeness with nature and give a chance to meet new people. I started maundering from Pichola Lake to fateh Sagar Lake.  The main attraction in Pichola Lake is Lake Palace located in middle of lake and boat ride which gives a picturesque view of shimmering water. Aravalli hills are surrounded Lake Pichola which would definitely a stunning image of your dreams. I visited City palace which is located on the bank of the Pichola lake, the city palace built with the fusion of Mughal and Rajasthani architectural style. Viewing from Pichola Lake, I found some beautifully overlooking monuments like, Jag mandir, Jagdish Temple, Neemach mata mandir and Monsoon palace. The day was going to end but my excitement level still high, I wish day couldn’t passed and I embraced all the calm environment in my breathe forever.

I started my next morning with Ginger tea and some rajasthani snack with mouth watering chutney. My next destination was Fateh Sagar Lake, which constructed by Maharana jai Singh in 1678, later on it completed by Maharana fateh Singh.  Lake’s three sides are surrounded by Aravali hills and in the middle of Lake Neharu Garden is beautifully situated. Fortunately, I got plenty of fascinating stops in garden to click good pictures for memories and immense amount of greenery in the park. The garden has boat shaped restaurant and zoo for children. In monsoon weather this park is become favorite destination picnic spot among people. Backdrop of greenery and shimmering-blue water gives the name of “Second Kashmir ‘to Udaipur City.

This exploration of beautiful city gives me a thought that having spent my entire life in polluted metro city, I always squeal with excitement when I go somewhere without pollution and can actually see the stars for once. The experience of Lake City still makes me to think that it was a great tacit and romantic and an exceptional moment which beats my pulse.

If you are looking to explore many more beautiful places along with this beautiful city you can go for Golden Triangle with Udaipur tour and explore the amazing beauty of India.
