Email Marketing Providers AKA ( Autoresponders)

An autoresponder is a computer program that automatically answers e-mail sent to it.^[1] They can be very simple or quite complex.

Autoresponders are often used as e-mail marketing tools to immediately provide information to their prospective customers and then follow-up with them at preset time intervals.^{[citation needed]}

Such follow-up autoresponders can be divided into two categories:

• Outsourced ASP model — these autoresponders operate on the provider’s infrastructure and are usually configurable via a web-based control panel. The customer pays a monthly usage fee. This is easiest to implement for the end-user.
• Server-side — enables users to install the autoresponder system on their own server. This requires technical skills. ( Not Recommended )

Autoresponders are also incorporated into electronic mailing list software, to confirm subscriptions, unsubscriptions, posts, and other list activities.

Which One Is Best For You?

Before jumping into one you must read the terms of service, which include what you can promote to your list. If you break any of the rules they will lock your account or deactivate it with no hesitation.

I was using mailchimp which is another autoresponder, but my actions got my account deactivated. I didn’t read the rules and therefore been locked out of my account for at least 1 week now and no response back from the support team…..So please read the rules of the autoresponder service you decide to use.

I now switched services to Mailerlite because im allowed to use affiliate links in my Email campaigns without getting deactivated or locked out. I’m not allowed to send an email claiming to be the product owner of a company, they call this affiliate marketing on thier terms of service. What im allowed to do is tailor my message in my words and provide value and then reccomend a service im affiliated with and insert my link in the message..

Different Ways To Collect Emails

Integrate Opt in Form On Blog/Website : This methods is very common and probably the second easiest to implement. All you need to do is get the code directly from your autoresponder service and copy the code and place it in a html widget if your using wordpress or install a plugin like Mailmunch which helps you create the opt in form and then connects it to your autoresponder via api access so your leads get automatically added to your list.

Below is the website ” Problogger” and you can see they have 2 opt-in forms, one is the header form and the other is widget form, which can be easily copied by using plugins like mailmunch ect….

Full Domain Opt In Form : This method is the most common way marketers and entrepreneurs like to capture leads and make sales, you probably already seen these before. They seems to be better in terms of targeting different niches. I found using this strategy works well when offering a lead magnet, which is a free gift to entice your visitors to enter thier name and email to get access to said gift.

The next step is choosing to have a thank you page or not, however many people just have it so when the visitor subscribers they get automatically redirected to an offer that is in the same niche as the free gift is. For example…say im giving away a free ebook on ways to make money and said visitor subscribes, they now get redirected to a course from udemy or a funnel system where they can make money and if they pay for said offer you get a commission.

Email List Systems : There are many email marketing systems out thier that help you build your list and can make you commissions, using these system can help you without breaking the bank, by giving you access to landing pages using your affiliate link. This saves you from buying your own domain and hosting and gives your more money to spend on advertising instead.

The visitor signs up to a capture page thats hosted by them, with your affiliate link at the end so your credited the lead/prospect. Then that subscriber get automatically added to your autoresponder of choice via api key. Then the extra benefits come into play, which is different with every system.

The only downside of using these systems is that all the users signed up to it are also going to use the same capture page when promoting, which can impact your conversion when you start sending traffic to it as well.

Your Viral List – This system builds your list exactly as mentioned in the above paragraphs, you signup via a capture page and integrate your autoresponder via api key access. Then promote your affiliate link on traffic exchanges, mailers, solo ads and social media websites. You and your visitors have the option to earn thier premium by referring 5 people to the person who sponsored them or paying xxx amount of money for 3 months. If they pay you get 50% commissions and if they earn you still get 5 subscribers for thier effort, it’s a win win.

I already written a review of this system via your viral list review where i personally show my results for 5 days of promoting using free traffic methods. I currently have 115 email members now and making about $46 usd every 3 months. I know thats not alot, but if your really good at getting signups and have a little money to spend on paid advertising methods you will be golden.

Buying Email Lists (Not Recommended) : You can buy email lists online, which is not recommended. The issue with buying these lists is you have no idea if thier fresh, fake or illegally sold. You can only go by word of mouth which in my opinion is not reassuring , especially if you don’t trust the vendor even if there ad states that its fresh and legal.

The second issue is your not the only one sending emails to these people, other marketers have paid for the list just like you did. This will make your emails less engaging and probably get many people unsubscribing immediately..

How I’m Building My List : The method im using is very similar to the ^^ above one ^^ , But i’ve added the elements of a giveaway or contest. On the first page there is a lead magnet, in this case it’s a free ebook which they get instantly once they subscribe. They aren’t redirected to an offer though, instead they go instantly to my giveaway page where there is another ebook. This one requires them to earn said amount of points to unlock, they gain points by sharing my opt-in page and then once they accumulate the said amount of points they get send the ebook instantly.

This is one of my favorite ways to build my list because some of the subscribers will advertise my page for me. This is called a viral loop and can be very very powerful is you have an awesome giveaway or contest prize.
