Chasing Happiness

You aren't unhappy because you don't have a nicer car, bigger home, a significant other, better grades, or more money.
It's not that you haven't accomplished enough. That's not it.
You won't be Happier once you finish that course, make more money, pass that test, or get that car. You'll probably be happier for a while, but then it's onto the next, and once again your'e feeling unsatisfied and begin chasing Happiness once again. The chase never ends.
Instead of chasing, appreciate. Practice gratitude daily. Do more, plan less.
I'm constantly trying to be happier, who wouldn't want to be happier. I think "once I do THIS I know everything else in life will fall into place"...what does that even mean? Everything in your life does not have to be neat and tidy in a simple little box or category for you to feel whole, put together...happy.
Happiness comes from getting rid of STUFF, drowning out noise that doesn't serve you, that means media, people, and social expectations of what you should be doing at each stage of your life and how to live it.
Find something that requires no STUFF that makes you happy in the moment.
Happiness is not an evaluation or checklist of your life, happiness is a moment to moment concept. More happy, lit up moments each day is happiness.
It's not something you chase, it's the habits you create in your daily life from the moment you wake up to the moment you go to sleep.
