Prescription

Anxiety has a way of making us feel like we are spiralling out of control until we can't move, and then we get anxious about seeming "lazy", and the cycle continues.
A while ago I made up a Mental Health Prescription for myself. I did this because I knew that if I went to the doctor, she would most likely put me on medication, which can be helpful, but would personally, be my last resort. Just like I stick to a health or workout routine, I made it my mission to stick to this "simple" mental health routine. Along with eating healthy, reading, easing my workload, and all that other good stuff, here is my mental health prescription that really helps to ease my anxiety (although it still comes in waves). Allowing myself to feel in control of my own well being has really helped to get my mind right and improve my mental health.
Mental Health Prescription:
1. Mediation/Relaxation 15mins/day
2. Moderate Exercise 30mins/day
- 10mins Morning Stretching
- 20mins Evening workout
3. Mindful Breathing/Facial Relaxation Throughout the day
4. Laugh More
