Accepting Relaxation

I don't think people often realize how Difficult it is to really just Relax. If I'm not doing something... I start doing something. If I'm procrastinating, I still do something like go on my phone or clean my room. We are surrounded by a society that makes "being busy" the right way to be. It's fine to be busy, if your time is filled with things you love; but it's also important to take a break each day to recharge ( besides sleep ). I've recently started realizing how difficult it is for me to fully relax, because as soon as I do, I fear something is going to happen so I can no longer be in a calm and relaxed state. I am practising being mindful in everything I do... It's definitely hard, but I think with more practice it will soon become a new healthy habit. Remember that it is healthy and more than okay to take time everyday to relax by doing nothing. Just be with yourself or with nature and reconnect with yourself in order to be the best person you can be in all areas of your life. Accept that is is okay to relax.
