Mental Clutter

Sometimes I look around my room and see Clutter all around and I feel the same way in my head...
Lately I've been feeling a bit mentally cluttered! Whenever I feel this way I like to take the time to tweak a few things in my life or daily routine and take steps to feel "put together" again. These are a few things that help me feel more gathered with myself and thoughts when my mind feels messy!
1. Clean your space
If your living space is messy, your mind will be too. Pick up your Stuff, set a timer for 30 mins and do a speed clean. Trust me you will feel so much better after this small step!
2. Get Healthy
Get back on that health train you were on a couple months ago and start every morning with a healthy breakfast and get your greens in! Get moving every single day whether that means going to the gym or dancing around the kitchen! That anxious feeling inside you can sometimes be knocked out by dancing or running it off!
3. Take care of your appearance
Do a face mask, get your nails done, organize your wardrobe and have outfits laid out for the week so you don't have to stress in the morning about having nothing to wear.
4. Write a  List
Write a list of things you feel you should get done ( homework etc. ) then write a list of stuff you want to do ( the fun stuff ). Sit down in a clear space, set your timer and get some work done so you can feel accomplished so you can start doing the stuff on your "want" list.
5. Who do you want to be
Write down and visualize who you want to be. Think of traits you want to possess and what type of person you want others to see in you and what type of person you want to see in yourself. It's easy to get caught up with deadlines and social media and all that crap so be sure to check in with yourself from time to time to ensure your meeting your moral expectations you have for yourself. Never get too caught up in the bullshit that you neglect to ground yourself. Figure out what keeps you on track and keeps you grounded!
