A Tree is going to Grow at its own pace. You can yell at it to grow faster, throw more water on it, tell it that it was supposed to be this high months ago, but it's still going to grow at it's own pace. The other day I was explaining to someone ( my naturopath ) about a couple things that keep my mind running at night, she then told me this analogy of a seed and a tree. A tree knows where to plant it's roots, where to grow it's branches and knows what pace it's going to grow at. She explained to me how we are not that different from a tree. People might tell us we are supposed to be somewhere in life at a certain point, but we have to ignore it the best we can because we all have our own personal journey. We will grow more branches when we are supposed to; when it's right for us. If you're uncomfortable with a typical stage in life, well maybe you just aren't ready yet... and that is SO okay. Ask yourself why you are uncomfortable first and then decide if it's because of some irrational reason OR maybe it's because you just aren't ready yet! Be honest and gentle with yourself, we are our harshest critic sometimes and have to remember to talk to ourself as if we are our best friend.

You will grow when and how you will grow...just leave it at that.
