Cotton Candy & Rainbows

Life is not war. Some may disagree...have fun being miserable. (I am of course well aware of the corruption in the world, but for the sake of this post I am referring to people in perfectly capable situations in developed countries which I am assuming you are since you are reading this on some sort of device)
If we constantly think about life as a war, where there are winners and losers and there is an end goal... well, I hate to tell ya, it's gonna be a long road ahead. If you set a goal thinking you will be happy, once you Reach that goal and until you get there you have to think of life as one big ruthless game, you will reach that goal and to your surprise, those feelings of happiness you waited for will vanish before you know it because you have never learnt how to just enjoy life for what it is. I used to think I had to bend over backwards to reach a goal and lose sleep and sacrifice health and happiness over it. I have learned that life is literally anything you want it to be and you can see it however you want. Im my books, if you aren't excited to get up every morning, aren't excited to see you friends or family, aren't proud of yourself as a human being, then your doing it wrong. Life is all about your perspective, and of course everyone is entitled to their own opinions, but take it from something whose been in and out of depressed states and has finally found my personal secret to a successful life, look at it as one big beautiful home ; not war, no games, no enemies.  Of course this is all just my outlook on life so take it or leave it , but all i gotta say is I am pretty darn happy with it.
