I feel like at the end of the year people get so focused on Thinking of ways 2017 will be "their year" that they completely leave 2016 in the past without bothering to take anything from it. You lived another whole year...that's pretty freaking awesome. Today I was thinking what 2016 has Taught me and I realized it taught me so much and had I not reflected on that, I would have lived another year and not learned anything because I was not reflecting. I think one of the most important things 2016 taught me was that, it's not my job to make everything someone else does a learning experience for THEM. What I mean by this is, whenever I don't agree with someone else's actions, I feel the need to take over and control how they react to things. I have learned that the best teacher is to lead by example. If I want someone to be kinder, I must show kindness. If I want someone to be more patient, I must show patience.

Take a second to reflect on what 2016 has taught you, write it down, and grow more as a person in 2017 with your knew knowledge about yourself.
