So I obviously don’t have too much time to run this blog. You can tell by the lackluster absence of any true content and my lacking-in-personality Commonplace Posts. I doubt anyone truly likes those but they’re the only form of content I have consistently until December.
In any case, Camp Nanowrimo #2 is coming up in July and I plan to participate as best I can with a job and other responsibilities, but at least school is no longer a huge issue in my writing life.
But I can’t fight between Job, Blog, and Nano.
So I’m announcing a sort of hiatus starting in July. July will have the commonplace posts, and the novel writing announcements, but it won’t have truly new content until August. During June I have new content you can look at, so that’s good. I need July to take a breath and just focus on my unfinished projects, and do maintenance. Maintenance means updating posts and deleting posts if I want to rewrite them etc. Basically the month I comb through my blog and find the things that don’t look good and slap some duct tape and paint on there.
In other news, my Nano project could be defined two ways.
- The upkeep of this blog and editing all the bad posts that are just *cringe*
- Absolutely finishing my first novel.
So I’m going to be swamped basically the entire year with both real work, school work, and creative work. Let’s see how this balances out. XD
I also hope I don’t form a habit of announcing hiatus every other week like I did last year.
I’m also super excited for September which will announce my second full year of blogging.
And since I really do need plan everything in advance (far, far, in advance), do ya’ll have any idea on what to do this year besides rattle off statistics?
