We've been having such a fun summer that I forget to blog about it. If it wasn't for instagramification would I be out of the internet game?
I've been resting a week since our big weekend in Vancouver but I have some photos I want to share that I've taken with the 60D. I was going through some of my Flickr archives and I can see just how much my style has changed. I have to admit that as much as I love my DSLR there are some things that I do miss about those tiny 10 megapixel cameras I used to by.
We met some friends a few weeks ago to enjoy the Food Truck Festival in Victoria. I love me some good eats. Doesn't help my dieting plan though. We got to see Earson and his pal, Jones the Dog who might be the cutest dog ever. Jones always gets so many compliments when he is out with Earson. He's very well trained too, but he decided to have a little doggy-break down when I was trying to take a nice picture of him.
The Food Truck Fest was amazing, I ate my face off and enjoyed every bite. I might have eaten a little too much but I washed all of that delicious food with some heavy denial.
We caught The Street Circus act outside and they played it up very nicely. Their bodies blew my mind, this couple are just sculpted out of marble.
This hoop act was my favourite. He was moving around to a decent dubstep mashup and everyone ooo'd and aaa'd, mesmirized. This is one of those things that looks effortless but I can see me trying it, crushing my fingers, and landing right on my face.
Forty hoops on her. I can't even do one.
Before this act started they were gathering the crowd around and Samantha gave my name to this gentlemen who shouted KRISTAAAAA really loud and gave me the fright of my life. Yeah I guess I should be paying attention to your swords and fire tricks instead of taking photos of seagulls.
I have more photos to come of my Vancouver trip that was a week ago, so expect those photos in another week. Don't forget to check out my facebook page for my photos and updates on my journey to being a real photographer and not just an imaginary one.
