Actor Tommy Ford passed away on Wednesday after an aneurysm ruptured in his abdomen.

On Friday, TMZ posted audio of what appears to be the deceased actor’s last interview with Xcellence Community Magazine founder Dr. Angella Banks. The gossip site described that his statements sounded as if he “almost wrote his own eulogy.”

When talking about his age, Tommy said:

More than half of my life is over. I have more years behind me than I do ahead of me. How many black men do you know 102-years-old?

Half of my life is over and I’m okay with that. So, it’s not about how much I have left. It’s about how much I accomplished while I was here.

I reached some destinations, I touched some lives, and I changed some lives…that’s what it’s about. Whether I was about my father’s business…that’s what it’s about.
