Storage & Organising

After I visit IKEA the first thing that always comes to my mind is …I wish I was that organised, Then I go home and see clutter everywhere and it drives me insane…maybe I’m a little obsessive compulsive!

I Love tips for Organising, I don’t necessarily put them into practice but even reading them makes me feel like I’m more in control of my multiple computer cables or messy jewellery drawer.

Here are a few great tips to help you around the house

Use Curtain Hooks to organise your scarfs - brilliant idea - I'm definitely trying this one!

A coat rack for jewellery....so simple yet effective!

This could simply give me hours back to my life....as I travel Regularly between houses I'm forever moving computers and laptops and most of my time is spent under a desk ravelling and unravelling the cables!!

This one isn't so relevant anymore since most supermarkets have abolished the cheap plastic bag in favour of a long life bag but most of us still have a few Spar once around the house so this is a great way to store them...in an old tissue box.

Curtain Hooks for handbags - love it! But might need a second wardrobe to hang he bags

This is ingenious and would certainly solve the problem of my printer sitting on top of the tumble dryer spitting out paper across the room likes it's training for the Olympics !

Well this one isn't for me...it's for my other half as I absolutely bluntly refuse to do the bins...it's not my job...not under my remit...not my responsibility. I'm tasked with other cleaner household duties....that being said it's a clever idea ..I must show it to him

This on the other hand is under my remit and something I'll definitely be trying as again it would save so much time rummaging through multiple bottles and save money as I regularly buy a new cleaning agent when there's three in the press.

And last but not least - this is a great idea for kids. Instead of storing crayons away in old shoe boxes or their packets which invariably fall apart - use clear boxes so that they can see the colours more easily!
