Iyanya Joins Mavin Records, Releases New single “Up To Something” Download – This should come as a good news to Iyanya and his camp since he has been out of any record label for a while.

The Kurukere singer has a couple of months ago announce his separation from his former business partner Ubi Franklin whom he co-owned Triple MG records with.

Although the separation was said to have been done peacefully, Iyanya had also given the intention that he was going to float his own record label.

Now few months ago, after departure from Triple MG, I am even surprised to say that Iyanya is now an artist under Mavins.

The leader of the Supreme Mavin Dynasty (SMD) Don Jazzy had taken to twitter to announce the deal. The deal was sealed with a new single that features Don Jazzy and Dr Sid titled “Up To Something“.

My guess is that he join Mavins for the benefit of better exposure, the type Tiwa Savage gets which made her attractive to record label such as SONY records and RoccNation.

We wish him all the best as his career takes a new turn.
