KANO – Kano State Governor, Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, has approved the appointment of Mrs Aisha Bello Muhammad as the new Accountant General.
A statement by Commissioner for Information, Youth and culture Comrade Mohammed Garba that was made available to Vanguard Wednesday said that the appointment took immediate effect.
Before her appointment, Mrs Aisha Muhammad was the Commissioner of Planning and Budget in the state.
A graduate of Financial Management and Accounting, Mrs Aisha held several managerial positions in the banking sector including Manager, Kaduna South, First Bank Nigeria Limited, Operation Manager, Minna branch, Head of Credit Risk, and Manager, Area office, Abuja all with Habib Nigeria Bank Limited.
Mrs Aisha Bello Muhammad was born in 1965 and is married with children.
