Odunlade Adekola is the most popular and richest Yourba actor singer and movie producer. He was born and bred in  Abeokuta, the capital of Ogun State southwestern Nigeria . He attended the Saint John RCM primary school where he obtained the West African School Certificate Examination (also known as WAEC), and later attended Saint Peter’s college, both school situated in Abeokuta. After his primary and secondar school education , he  proceeded to Moshood Abiola Polytechnic where he bagged a diploma certificate .
The Yoruba movie star started acting movies at a very young age according him. He started acting when he was still very young with his friend named Tunde in his hometown, Abeokuta. He and his friend Tunde was very popular in their church because whenever any anniversary was to hold in his church (the Christ Apostolic Church, Lafenwa, Abeokuta), he and a friend,  “Tunde”, would request to play jesters, and they always accept the task which was one of the reason they were loved by many in the church . Back in the days , Odunlade Adekola would take his time to write a script for a comedy play where he and his friend Tunde will be the only character on it . He started from the very scratch and trained himself for couple of years to become the most famous and richest Yoruba actor that we all know today .

Odunlade Adekola started acting  in the year 1996 and he has since featured in more than 100 Yoruba movies besides Alani pamolekun (2015), Asiri Gomina Wa (2003), Mufu Olosa Oko (2013) ,Kabi O Osi (2014), Oyenusi (2014), Sunday Dagboru (2010) ,Monday omo adugbo(2010), Emi Nire Kan (2009), Eje Tutu (2015), Gbolahan (2015), Oju Eni Mala (2015), Kurukuru (2015) and many more which i will be exposing later on this article . Odunlade Adekola kick started his acting career in 1996 and in thesame year he joined the Association of Nigeria Theatre Arts practitioners and was under the tutelage of the late nollywood actor and producer, Isola Durojaiye also known as Alasari .
His career was motivated by some prominent Yoruba actors in Nollywood before he started acting professionally , they include the likes of Taiwo Hassan, Adebayo Salami, Lere Paimo and some others . The actor started working professionally in 2015 and he became popular in 2007 .
