Deshauna Barber Wins 2016 Miss USA – A US Army Officer, Deshauna Barber, who is 26 of year old has been crowned winner of the 2016 Miss USA Beauty Pageant.

Following the event, Barber, who was representing the District of Columbia, beat Emanii Davis representing Georgia and Chelsea Hardin representing Hawaii to win the pageant crown.

doing the the question and answer Barber gave very intelligent answers to all the questions she was asked, showing she wasn’t just beauty but also a lot of brains as well.

One of the questions she was asked was her thoughts on the decision to allow women enter combat roles in the military, and she responded:

“As a woman in the United States Army, I think it was an amazing job by our government to allow women to integrate into every branch of the military.” She continued: “We are just as tough as men. As a commander of my unit, I’m powerful, I am dedicated and it is important that we recognize that gender does not limit us in the United States.”
