Now that’s a big no-no! Kim Kardashian was spotted driving her Range Rover while texting — that is so not cool! Kim is putting not only herself but others in serious danger.

We’re sure Kim Kardashian was Snapchatting or checking emails but she should have waited until her car was safely parked somewhere before scrolling through her device. The reality star was cruising around in her sleek Range Rover on March 15 and it definitely looked like she was texting but regardless — her eyes were off the road! This is illegal in many states, including her home state of California! Kim definitely knows better.

We know that Kim is a very busy lady and is busy connecting with fans at all hours of the day on various social media platforms. But being on your phone while driving, even glancing at it, can have serious repercussions. We know that Kim didn’t intentionally mean any harm and she was driving slowly through a parking lot but she needs to set a better example since her every move is watched like a hawk. Maybe some of these statistics will have more of an impact. Kim, did you know that 330,000 injuries occur each year from accidents caused by texting while driving? 1 out of every 4 accidents in the US is caused by texting and driving. You might be thinking, I was just looking down for a second but did you know that on average, answering a text takes five seconds and if you’re traveling 55 mph, that’s enough time to go the length of a football field? Scary!

Kim, don’t be a statistic, make a difference by setting an example. If you’re going to be behind the wheel, don’t text and drive. If you want to be on your phone, you’re wealthy enough to hire a driver. That way you can sit in the back and text to your hearts desire.
