Kendall Jenner is single and ready to mingle, according to friends close to the reality star. Despite Selena Gomez saying her reality star/model bestie was taken, it turns out she’s free as a bird — but are you buying it?

Kendall Jenner is not locked down with a man! Even though Selena Gomez, 23, revealed to U.K. radio station Capital FM on March 14 that she’s the only single girl in her squad, it turns out Sel was wrong, according to E! News. Kendall is reportedly totally unattached and not dating Harry Styles or Chris Brown.

“Kendall is single,” a source tells E!. “She is not dating Harry anymore, but they are still friends and if they are in the same city they likely would [hang out]. Nothing bad happened between them, just busy schedules.” Hmm… but let’s take a look back at what Selena, her good friend literally just said. The host of Capital FM asked Selena: “Speaking of your friends you’ve got quite an impressive list. You’re part of ‘the squad’… Taylor Swift, Gigi Hadid, Cara Delevingne, Kendall, and like every other single superstar. What I want to know is are you holding auditions? I can fit into some nice outfits.”

That’s when Selena said she’s the only single one! “Maybe not for the squad necessarily but boyfriend material is always good,” she said. “None of them are single just so you know. Taylor is not single, Gigi is not single, neither is Kendall. I am the only single one!” We think Kendall is way too amazing to be single but she is super busy. We just are shocked that a report is claiming she’s single after Selena said she’s dating someone. Perhaps Kendall just doesn’t want the world to know who she’s seeing because she’s such a private person?
