Indian Job Market to Strengthen with Several Jobs in the Organised Sector

Earlier, we had informed you about the rising popularity of startups that will create millions of jobs in India, this year. Yet again, some fresh reports in Dianik Bhaskar further suggest a similar future trend in the country’s Job Market. Various studies have been conducted that indicate towards a favourable phase in hiring and the major reason for this is the economical development along with new startups emerging in fields like retail, finance and technology. So, clearly 2016 is the time to rejoice for all the job seekers.

Various surveys conducted on job market conclude that this year not only the hiring will see a high rate of growth, but the salary will also increase. As per the 2016 Job Outlook Survey, jobs in all the sectors will get a 7% hike. Out of all the employers included in the survey, more than 60% have positive hiring plans.

Something similar has been found out by My Hiring Club Dot Com. It says that in 2016, he organised sector will make way for 1 Lakh job opportunities. Apart from the startups, factors like emergence of new players in Manufacturing Sector and rising popularity of foreign investment determine such a rise in hiring.

Salary Hike

The surveys conducted, are suggesting a similar trend regarding the salary package of employees, which seems to be pretty convincing. As per India All Industries Total Remuneration Survey, this year, companies will give a hike of 10.5% in their respective base salary. HR Experts also believe that all the sectors in the country will see a rise of 12-15% in the remuneration. As far as the high level jobs are concerned, one can expect a 30% increase in the salary.

Demand of Middle Level Managers

It has been found in the surveys that among various managerial posts, the demand of Middle Level Managers will be maximum. The recruitment plans of companies in all the sectors will mostly include employment of job seekers with 2-5 years of experience.

More Jobs in Sales and Marketing

Studies indicate that in 2016, the demand of Sales & Business Development Professionals will be maximum, whereby professionals with better performance in their previous jobs, will be offered a handsome salary. Moreover, the marketing professionals will also be demanded, which will benefit those who have digital marketing skills. The job market for IT professionals will also enjoy a positive phase.

IT, Telecom and Manufacturing Sector to Stay Ahead in Hiring

Experts believe that owing to the Government schemes like Make in India and Digital India, the technology and manufacturing sector will be promoted, which will give rise to the demand for workforce. Sectors like IT, Telecom and Manufacturing will emerge as the biggest employment generators this year.

2016 Job Outlook Survey indicates that the maximum number of candidates will be hired by IT and Telecom sector, while the Manufacturing sector will be a prominent employment generator in the job market. Besides, healthcare and infrastructure will also emerge as suitable fields for hiring. Apart from this, focus will be laid on business expansion, sales and branding. This will in turn give way to jobs in the field of sales, business development and marketing.
