Ahmed Faraz
Ahmed Faraz was a famous urdu poet. born on 12 January 1931, in Kohat and died on 25 August 2008. He was a Pakistani national and acclained as one of the best modern Urdu poets of the last century. Faraz was his pen name and real name was Syed Ahmed Shah. He was awarded Hilal-e-Imtiaz, Sitara-e-Imtiaz and after his death Hilal-e-Pakistan.
